Disclaimer - I'm very new to these! In fact, I'm not so sure it'll be $3k+. Below is what i'm looking for:

- 5' throw distance or less
- ability to ceiling mount without vertical shift / keystoning challenges
- 1080p
- I have ambient light but little to no daylight - so 1500+ lumens? 2000? Otherwise i had seen the LG ultra short throw, but it's only 1000 lumens.
- 100" + image, though preferably 110 if not 120
- I'd like to spend less than $5k, ideally even less than $3k.

- Nice to have - long lamp life

Any recommendations?? Thanks!

Quality short throw projectors are not common. The best of the lower cost (sub-$1,000) short throw projectors is generally considered to be the BenQ HT1085ST, which will throw a 100" diagonal 16:9 image from as close as 5' and 120" from as close as 6'. You can do a search for it to find the specs and read some reviews on its performance. I'm really not familiar with any $3,000+ projectors that match your needs, so I will follow this thread with interest to see what suggestions others might make.
