If you want a system goes boom during action movies, you need a good subwoofer. With your limited budget, you are better off with maybe buying front 3s and getting a good subwoofer. Get any of the Polks from Neweggs or Frys. Maybe even the Infinity Primus and use your current system as surrounds. And the rest of your money, invest a subwoffer from eD, SVS, or HSU, MFW 15.

Should i buy a whole new set?
Hey guys, i just posted a thread alittle bit ago about adding front floor standing speakers to my polk audio package... I was thinking and had a idea... would it be a good idea to just get rid of the polk audio rm6880 package and get myself a whole new set that ill peice together my self? I have 800 dollars that im willing to spend... any ideas what kind of 5.1 - 7.1 set i can get with 800 dollars? would it be worth it? can i get some decent speakers? give me some speaker combination ideas with 800 dollars. What i expect out of my set up is great for movies and great for music (dance, rock, hip hop) i really love a system that will go boom during action films.. What do you guys think?

The thing is i have no idea if i can find some speakers for surround (later on) that would sound right with the front speakers. i dont think i can listen to my speakers at home then go to a speaker shop and remember how my home speakers sounded like..
Hey bamboo i couldnt find your used one for sale they only show new ones for some reason... how much? Also i the previous advice and looked on new egg i think i came up with a nice from 3 plus sub let me know what you guys think.....
