I believe it is 1 yr parts and labor, 2 years crt. As for whether or not it's worth it? I think circuit city's warranty is a bit overpriced since it only covers 2 years... But that's just my opinion. I myself didn't get a warranty, it's really just about whether you can afford it and if you need it to have peace of mind.
I didn't get one since I'm quite frugal and the Hitachi's do have the best reliability record in the industry(I think?).
