I've had my new system for about a month. It consists of a Sony KDF60XBR950, a Sony SATHD200 satellite tuner, a Denon 3805 (running Polk RTi speakers) a SV20-39PCi , a Denon 2910 (soon), and a Playstation 2.

Should I run all of my video through my 3805 (PS2,DVD, satellite)? It has some sort of upconversion stuff that I have no idea about. Right now my satellite tuner is hooked up straight to the TV via DVI. I just want the best picture possible out of everything that I have. Thanks in advance

The 3805 will do component video switching through its three inputs, but has no DVI connection. I'd keep the STB connected straight to the TV via DVI and run everything else via component through the 3805. The fact that it will simultaneously switch audio and video sources is convenient, especially if you have a complex system. However, it does require more cabling. The convenience is worth it for me.
