I have an MP-1 Radeon 9800 video card in my HTPC. It seems that everything is heading towards Nvidia cards however, as they say they've got the best DVD playback out of the box, TT 2.0 is geared towards them, and Mike parker appears to be making mods for them.


Question is, is it worth it for me to upgrade? Will an Nvidia card have better PQ out of the box than my MP-1 9800? And what card should I upgrade to? Can the mod on my Radeon be transfered to an Nvidia card? Help I'm confused!

Ditto! I've got a 9500Pro MP-1 driving my BG808s, I also would like to know the same but with the addition of ffdshow. In the "Official" ffdshow settings thread, all of the users are either DLP RPTV or Panel PJ's not CRT. Is there significant benefit utilising ffdshow when viewed on a CRT PJ?
