Should I upgrade screeen? SI Slate Zero Edge 1.2

I am currently considering a screen upgrade from my current silver ticket screen which is 135" White. 1.1 gain.

I am also in the market and weighing options to upgrade to a native 4k PJ. Eyeing the NX5/NX7. Leaning NX7.... Current PJ is Epson 5040UB.

Anyone have regrets with the Zero Edge?

We watch 70% Movies 30% sports. movies are completely light controlled. sports we usually leave a few lights on. I am considering an ALR screen as it would be nice to have some of those properties for sports days and it help with daytime movies which does have some light that I cannot completely control.

I am looking at approximately a 143" Zero Edge Slate 1.2 Screen. Any Reason not to do this?

Should I do the light kit? Not sure how much this adds but I feel like it's a distraction and serves no purpose other than to look "cooler". Is there other benefits? I feel like I would probably have it turned off almost always.

Some other ALR options to consider would be:

Less aggressive more reference quality, EVP Darkstar 9, Da-lite Parallax/DNP Supernova

More aggresive aside from the Slate 1.2 would be the Seymour Screen Excellence Ambient-Visionare Black 1.2

Theres also XY Screens new PET X3 HG, though I havent seen a sample.

More aggressive meaning they fight ambient light more but have negative effects on the image, namely lower viewing angles and gain artifacts like sparkle.

is a 145" Zero Edge slate 1.2 to big for a RS2000/Nx7? figure a light controlled room for movies and some ambient light for sports? I won't go below 135" which is what I have for the Epson. it does fine. How do I compare brightness on the screen?
