I don't really think your SQ or PQ is going to change for the better and if it does it will be minimal. Assuming you don't need the extra power or bells n' whistles...you're paying $600 just to have a different receiver do the same thing the 605 is already doing.
You can always buy an HDMI switcher and gain several more inputs for your 605. They start at around $50.
