Just curious as to how many of you connect to a HDMI connector plate on the ceiling with your projector vs just doing a pull thru of the entire cable run through a bulk type of port (or hole!) with the only termination at the projector itself. Obviously, the plates look nice, but has anyone experienced performance issues?

Thanks

I think a lot of folks use the latter option with a pass-through port to avoid the hassle plus cost of additional terminators and cables required to do wall-mount jacks. For permanent installation, you just don't change patch cables or move stuff around often enough to justify the effort. And cosmetically, done right, a bulk port can look just as clean as a bunch of wall jacks on a plate up on the ceiling, especially with multiple cable types.

Thanks. I've thought about it some more and agree on using pass through wall plates...it will save me some hassle anyway. Thanks again.
