Looking through the various online dealers for Home Theater accessories and was amazed how much it cost to buy a Ticket Booth. I bought a light box awhile back depicting our pet dog, "Dudley," an Airedale Terrier, handing out tickets and was never really satisfied with just hanging the light box on the wall.




So, I went down to Lowes and picked up a 4x8 sheet of Birch plywood and some stain and thought I'd make my own. This is my completed project below:

I like it.

It really helps get you feeling like you are going to the movies.


Nice thinking on using that light box. I never seen or thought of doing that!

Thanks for the compliment. Sorry about the pic, not the best photographer. Heres one more with the lights out. The black bar underneath the light box is a scrolling bar that I can program messages.

I purchased this antique ticket booth from ebay for $400. It was built for

a Pennsylvania ballroom in 1925. I had a contractor refurbish it.

colton i have a feeling yorue someone famous so now tell us, we know we have famosu peopel frequeting this forum. by famous i mean people who are millionaires
