I have found that you can not pad a show when you do a search to find all episodes. Quantum Leap for ex. I did a search and found all the shows (on the same day and same time) and set them up to record, but after that I could not pad the time 1 min before and after. If I find it in the guide and choose to record I can pad the time. Is that the way it works with searches and themes?? Can you not pad a theme or a search??

P.S. The only reason I ask is that sometimes the SCI-FI channel runs 6 episodes in a row, including the one at the original time. When ever that happens I end up missing those episodes, that would be found in a search instead of just a channel guide record. HELP!!!!

Thanks for the reply John. From what I read it does not sound like that will be a feature and like the "man" before me, that bums me out. In the example of a sports game I kinda see how that would be confusing to some, but for a show that has a certain length, that should not be a problem. As it was said in the previous thread, those who were confused did not have to use it. Make it a feature for "Power Users". Maybe even have a menu called "Power Users". For people who are not tech-inclined, that usually scares them away http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif .
