The 411 screen still lists a PV serial number (which I did not think would change), but everything else is all ReplayTV. I wonder if it fixed the MVBug. I have not actually experienced it, but I know a lot of you have. For those of you "infected" with the MVBug, has the v3.0 upgrade helped?? |
Got home, net connected, got 3.0 on the first try (went out to dinner while downloading

The MV Bug is still present in both forms (i.e. the behavior of not allowing recording or viewing is still there, and it still kicks in when it shouldn't.) One semi-interesting tidbit. You know how the description field in the channel guide is "translucent?" Well, if I go to my infamous MV Bug channel, and pull up the channel guide, after the copy protection screen kicks in, I can still see the contents of the channel in the translucent part for several more seconds until finally it goes all one color (can't tell what color since it's behind the blue film of the description background, but I'm guessing it matches the copy protection screen's color.)
All in all, I like the changes with the exception that I don't like the blue color scheme and I want my rust color scheme back!!!
