So I "upgraded" to a used 10GB HDD after the original HDD on my showstopper died from overheating. Patched first and then used MB's image. Both seemed to go fine but I the RTV would reboot after about 1-2 hours and then go into a continuous reboot cycle. The fix? I disabled disk spin down. I am now 7 days and running without a reboot. Thanks to everyone on the board, for RTVPatch and for the image. Nice to have my clonflict RTV up and running to take some of the load off of my 45xx (now I don't have to wait a few days to get my conflicted shows via the internet).

Anyway - not sure if the disk spindown was a known fix to this problem - but it worked for me.

Glad you got it working. Possibly the 10 gig drive has difficulty accelerating up to speed. Disable disk spindown would be an excellent work around if that were the case.
