Recently bought a nice shuffleboard table and it came with a set of pucks. After just a few dozen games the chrome finish on the bottom of a few pucks is chipping and peeling off. This makes the bottom very rough and not something I want on my table. Has anyone else ever had this issue?

Are you using shuffleboard wax? One of my older pucks has chrome peeling. With the shuffleboard wax, there is a layer between it and the board. Mine is a shuffle bowler, but the principle is the same.

Yea I use shuffleboard wax. Wouldn't really slide if I didn't. These are brand new pucks.

I was looking at a puck that I bought brand new about a year ago. It probably has only been used for 20 or so shuffle bowling games. The chrome is coming off on the edges there too.

I guess there aren't any good premium pucks around.
