Sure, like lettering or a logo or something?Could you use the cnc to add some sort of design to the front baffle?
Every end of brace supports the front baffle, and like Sibuna said the top and side screws for the driver will attach directly into the bracing, so plenty of wood to bite into to support that beast.Holy bracing batman!
With the sub being so heavy and deep, do you guys think it would be a benefit to have double baffle's to screw into (i.e.-"quad baffle")?
I think once I can toss another sheet or two on the front that I can get pretty close, but the bracing certainly isn't near as prettyEQing is gonna start with the omnimic in combo with its software/ REW and a MiniDSP, because thats what i currently have. with regards to beasts box this one should be quite a bit more sturdy due to the triple baffle and the design of the bracing.
the miniDSP thread is sill here Beast http://www.avsforum.com/forum/155-diy-speakers-subs/1281290-minidsp.htmlI think once I can toss another sheet or two on the front that I can get pretty close, but the bracing certainly isn't near as pretty
stoked to see where this goes...
BTW, is there not a general Minidsp thread somewhere or did it die somehow?
