Advice needed for side placement of speakers. I have a 568 and my speaker location relative to my listening seat is as follows. Front right and left speakers diagonally 17.5 feet distant from listening position and approx 9 feet apart from each other.
Rear speakers diagonally 8 feet from listening position and 33 inches behind listening position and approx 16 feet apart from each other. So you can see if I place the sides at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock relative to my listening position , 1): it will be blocked by other people sittong in front of sat location, 2):side will be only 33 to 36 inches away from rear corner surround speakers.
If I place to side equidistant from my fronts and rears, then thecould be 12 feet 9 inches diagonally from listening position, around 10 o'clock or so. And to top it all off, and to be considered, each side channel speaker (avalon acoustic monitor) has it's own q2w Vandersteen sub so shouldn't that be placed as close as possible to its "satellite" speaker just as my rear channel avalon monitors are with separate vandersteen q2w subs? Further info: Main speakers Avalon Eidelon and center channel avalon monitor. Also have smart devises CS-JR for rear center channel which is avalon monitor.
