I like reading "official" information about Profile 1.1 and 2.0 player hardware.
Does anyone know of any BD players in development that is using the Sigma Design SMP8634? Keith Jack knows but his keyboard is sealed (NDA's)

Nice that chip support decoding of every audio codec..
Ive heard rumors that the upcoming holiday season sony/pioneer "top end" players will have this chipset. And that PiP is already working on both of them.

gen 3 sony will definitely use this. the only question i have deals with option m and amount of memory that players will have (profile 1.1 vs. 2.0). i wish it had wireless...
