Any ideas why my Mits SR-HD5 DTV receiver would be reporting signal strengths in the 30-60's on Sat's A & B but my RCA standard def receivers are reporting strengths in the 90+ range? (e.g., Sat A, transponder 4 on the mits is running about 55 while the RCA reports 99)

Obviously, I've tried swapping cables, etc. Nothing worked.

Unplug the Mits for a few seconds. If that does it, you just needed a reboot. Action/Power on the remote can also work. If that doesn't do the trick, unplug the Mits for a couple of hours. If the SS is higher right after plugging it in, the culprit is probably heat. Search for E86 and fan. The Mits is a Hughes E86 clone.

My SD receiver is normally 2-10 points higher than my HD receivers.
