I've been testing out my new JVC progressive scan player and it seems to pass a lot of the "problemed" discs that had improperly flagged progressive material.
I ran into a stumbling block last night, though. The player scales non-anamorphic discs (The Game looked fantastic) for my 16:9 tv, but when i put in the Criterion Silence of the Lambs, it would only play in 4:3 letterboxed. I couldn't seem to change the progressive function to get it to scale it. I zoomed in the picture but i was left with the wrong OAR.
Any workaround for this?
