Is there any way one can purchase or download the Silicon Optix HQV Benchmark Test DVD to evaluate DVD performance on ones own system?

It was expected to be released around CES 2005; but looks like it's not out yet based on this link.

They distributed copies to some of us in the press before CES. I do not know what their distribution policy is.

It is a fascinating tool. It clearly differentiates between various players (and various interconnections) on my Fujitsu P50/40.

This disc is an interesting idea. However, it strikes me that most of the tests require very subjective judgments about how well the player performs. I guess I would prefer something more quantifiable.
