Silverstone LC16M question

I am curious to know if the DVD tray in this case can be removed? Is it permanently attached or? I have the bad feeling that a long vid card like my ATI x1800 AIW or a long Nvidia 7800 might not fit. I think I can live without a DVD drive, if it means that I can have the video card I want. Figure I can always use an external DVD or access one from my other computers if need be.
