I was pulling up the all white test pattern tonight and I noticed a yellow spot with 4 purplish spots around it. It doesnt look like a dead pixel and im pretty sure it isnt dust (since this is light sealed).
Does anyone know what may be causing this? I have a feeling it may need to go in for service :-(
It is noticeable on regular material anytime there is a white background on the screen (especially during hockey). I pulled up the menus with VE as well. Im not sure what can be causing this, but it definitely wasnt there during the first few weeks of use.
I had a similar problem with my ht 250. I cannot remember all the details but apparently there was moisture in the light engine or optics or something causing a pinkish purple color on white scenes on my screen. It was repaired under warrenty by Seleco. Give them a call a their Flordia repair center and speak to one of the techs. This was the explaination they gave to me. Hope this is helpful. Greg Young
Although the optics are sealed, one of my client had a dust problem on a sim (HT200). Almost the complete optics are sealed, but between the lamp and the start of the "sealed" part, you still have a risk for dust. This can easily be cleaned. So I think its worth to look just there.
