Hello paranormalg35!

Let me see if I got this straight....., you currently have a 52" Sony LCD in your bedroom and you want to add:

HK AVR354

Oppo BDP-83 Universal

4 acoustic panels

Ascend CMT's 340s and later add center and surrounds to match!

And let's not forget the sub! The Rythmik D15 SE!

All this to go with your CAL King bed!?! In your bedroom?!

I'm not trying to hate, but damn!

Not bad, not bad at all. I have a 32" LCD with an old Denon AVR2801, Pioneer DV578A/s universal player, a Verizon Fios HD STB and a Klipsch Cinema 8 pkg in my bedroom. My bed is only a Queen size!

I'm sure it will look and sound good once your finished! Why would you want to get out of bed!?! Oh yeah, to go to work to pay for all of that stuff!

Regards.

lol that's gonna be quite a system once you get it together. Heck I just run a 34" Panny HD tube with a Denon 1804 and two Klipsch RF15s, along with a few game systems and no BD player. Maybe someday...

Hope to see future pics soon!

the 52" is not too big in the bedroom. i had a 42 in there before but you adjust accordingly after such upgrade.

i got the new nightstands in yesterday and also the media center. the sub should be in today. its a sign for package but left a note on the door. hopefully that works

paranormalg35,

You are so out of control!

I need to stop reading your thread! You make me want to upgrade my 32" LCD and snatch up the Panny 42" plasma at BB for $699.00 for my bedroom!

And the new furniture looks nice in the bedroom!

Regards.

Congrats paranormal. Thats a very nice sub for a bedroom set-up for sure.

Do you think you're going to keep it in the front right side like that?

Other options include front left corner, although didn't you mention putting a bookshelf there? Or you could put it on either side of your bed as a nightstand. Something about the idea of a 15 inch subwoofer nightstand sounds very appealing to me

You'd just have to be careful with that gloss finish.

hi Gelinas,

at first i wanted to use it as a nightstand and convince wife i need two to complete look but she opted for conventional nightstands

oh well. and yes the media center is going on the left. other then where it is now i dont have any other idea's of where to put it.

heres a new pic waiting to put together media center. the speakers and tv was a tight fit but i love how its ending up. cant wait to finish this one out.

HAHA! i was thinking EXACTALLY the same thing. But she still seems pretty reasonable to let you have 2 svs subs in your living room, a 60" pioneer plasma, a 15" sub in the bedroom, and a 52" tv in there. You are doing very well with your setups and overcoming WAF in general.

So are you going for a 2.1 setup in the bedroom?

yes a 2.1 for now but in the future i will finish it out to a 5.1 and also a 2nd zone to the master bathroom if i ever get around to it.

the wife has been pretty cool about everything Except for the ATS panels that should arrive today. she is just not liking the idea of them in our bedroom. hopefully after she sees them and the fact they are red color suede(artistic value) she will approve.

Yeah the WAF is indeed not very high with your system but she must be understanding to let you mess with her house like that lol. All kidding aside it'd be interesting to see the tv on the wall in the bedroom. It might look cleaner. Also, think about moving the sub to the other side to free up space?

Hello paranormalg35!

The bedroom config has really come together. I love the audio stand/cabinet. It really goes well with the other furniture.

Now, are you planning to keep the DirectTV Sat box on top of the HK? The reason I ask is because the DTV box, from what I've experienced tends to run a little warm. The HK does also. But I assume you won't be pushing the system too hard anyway, right?

Regards.
