I'm new to AV distribution in the home and have a relatively simple setup I could use some assistance on exactly what I need. Most of the search threads I've looked through are for systems way more complicated than mine. Right now I have 3 coax sources - cableTV, OTA rooftop antenna, and we just added a Sirius outdoor antenna. I just got a new TV for the basement playroom for the kids and need to distribute the cable to two Tivo's and one HDhomerun, the OTA to two TV's and two FM/HD radio tuners, and the Sirius antenna to two receivers. All the sources are next to the TV's so I'd just like to send the three antennas to the basement storage room, then use a distribution panel to sent the coax runs to the two separate locations. Runs will be short, no more than 40 feet at most. Would something like this do the job? Or is that overkill? I'm not too worried about future proofing as we will either gut this house in a year or two or move on to another, so I'm trying to keep this simple.
