Simple System To Setup With New Samsung 75" TV

339 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  flickhtguru
So I just purchased the Samsung 75inch 8000 Series TV. I am looking to add a surround sound to my system. What I will have hooked up is DirecTV, PS4 and an Apple TV.

What kind of a setup would I need to support all 3? This is the actual first time I am setting up such a theatre system.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Budget? Given what you've said so far, a receiver with at least 3 HDMI inputs (preferably more) to start with.
Not more then $1000, really don't want to spend that but want something decent!
For around $1000 I'd look at the Onkyo HT-S9400THX. You could probably build a nice system with separates (receiver/speakers) but some feel that the Onkyo is about the best HTiB out there, albeit a bit expensive for a HTiB system.
Altho I've never heard of anyone actually spending even close to $1,000 for it. It does seem to be a hard system to come by tho, BUT if you look and wait you can find great deals. Right now accessories4less.com has a refurbished 9400THX for $650 + shipping, pretty good deal.
