I have a Sony Vaio circa 2001. I just upgraded to a 19" widescreen monitor, and my Nvidia GeForce 2 Ti does not support widescreen. What would be a good card that would support WVGA? I wouldn't need to be an intense graphics card.

thanks,

Honestly I think you would be hard pressed to find an AGP card still for sale that doesn't support it... I havent followed cards too much lately, but i would stick to the nvidia 5200/6200 or radeon 9500/9600 cards both are good choices, they shouldn't be too much overkill for your system and can be had for ~$40-$50, stick to a 128mb model. But you could certainly get away with an older card if you are on a tighter budget.

hope that helps

Are the ones without a DVI connector and a fan less expensive and less graphic intense?
