I have an older Mitsubishi RPTV, it supports 1080i but only has component inputs. Is it possible to connect a PCH or Egreat to the TV via component and to the AV Receiver via HDMI, to enable streaming of videos with HD Audio Tracks?


If neither of these devices will support this setup are there any other devices that will?

I have a similiar question...which players will output audio simultaneously through both the HDMI & Optical outputs? With my setup I have to run HDMI to my LG tv & then usually optical to my Sony receiver. I am looking at the following units:


Xtreamer

ACRyan PlayOn! HD

EGreat EG-M34A or M31C

HDX100

Asus O!Play HDP-R1


I am open to other brands too.
