Sirius with alpine headset

I have an alpine 9857 and am thinking about getting sirius (or xm). The 9857 has two lines of text (large reason for the purchase). Does anyone know if the two lines apply to sat radio as well. I thought that I read somewhere that when you hook up the sat radio reciever (right into the back, no seperate unit) it only scrolls one line of text. Anyone know? thanks
