Hi all,

a few weeks ago, I made my new HTPC.

Because my old HTPC was a only a P III 650 Mhz, I deceided to by a P 4 Socked 478 with the new SIS645-board from Asus P4S333.

Okay, I installed XP and the 6025-driver for my Radeon 32 DDR.

After this I run the newest SIS AGP chipset driver.

Then Cineplayer 4 with the registry-settings for DXVA.

Now, Cineplayer shows me DXVA and IDCT in the Information Tab.

But the Picture is worse !!!

It looks the same as with software decoding only.

I don't have Hardware acceleration, I'm sure.

What in the hell is wrong now ???

I try different Radeon-driver with all of my software-player(cineplayer,TT-player and WinDVD) on different partions.

Have I forget something really important for the install process, some Bios settings or drivers for the SIS board ?

Please let me know...

Hey there,

I have the same problem here. When I install my Radeon VE with the 6.25 drivers everything seems te work fine. But when I install Cineplayer 4 and run it, "force software" in the settings tab is always automatically selected. When I uncheck the force software field, it will accept DVXA iDCT in the information tab. But the picture looks awfull.. It's shaky en I get jagged edges. I'm very unhappy with this, specially because I just bought the Cineplayer 4 a couple of days ago and now I'm not satisfied with the results at all !

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Tbusquet
