Has anyone ever had this happen?


Every now and then, video on HD channels will slow down to a crawl. Audio continues on as normal, and if you change channels and go back, it goes back to normal.


Sometimes I can watch hours of straight hd programming and never have it skip, sometimes it does it every 10 minutes. I have no idea why it does this, just wondering if anyone esle has experienced it.

I noticed this last night during Law & Order on TNT-HD. As a test, I switched the output from the 811 from 1080i to 480p. That seemed to correct the problem. Probably just a coincidence, though, as I then switched back to 1080i and it was fine. I would also love to know the reason for this. Anyone?

Yeah, TNT HD seems to be the worst, but I've seen it happen on disc hd a couple times as well.


It's annoying.

I noticed a few days ago. I think it was on Discovery HD. Changing the channel and then coming back clears it up. It's very annoying. Just another 811 bug that may get fixed before the decade ends.
