Does anyone know if the Skyworth is capable of reading DVD-R discs.


I was intending to go with the Denon 2800 (I want 576p from PAL discs),

but I discovered that it was not capable of reading DVD-R. If anyone can suggest an alternative player, I would be happy to hear their ideas.

The Skyworth will read DVD-Rs... I've tried some a friend burned. But I had problems until I replaced the infamous capacitor. Also, it seems like the media with a light purple recording surface work best.
