When a VCD2 is paused and then restarted on the Skyworth, it will play for about a half second. The picture will then freeze (with no sound) for about 10 seconds. Meanwhile, the disc is still being read because the picture finally returns, having skipped about 10 seconds of program material. This makes it necessary to skip backwards to see the part of the program that was missed.
