The Skyworth will give you better progressive output for video sourced DVDs, as it uses the Sage/Faroudja Fli2200 deinterlacing chip with DCDi processing.
However, the Panny has the nice Matsushita chip without the chroma bug, and has by all accounts an excellent picture quality - possibly better for film-sourced DVDs. I think that they were compared in a recent shootout. Possibly another member has bookmarked it? Otherwise, run a search with the title keyword "shootout" going back no more than 3 months: it will turn up.
