slight color impurity in Panasonic PT50LC13

I got my Panasonic a few months ago, and everything was great for about a month. Then I rented A Simple Plan on Netflix, which takes place during winter with a lot of white snow. Shortly after beginning the film, I noticed that the snow was a (very) slight shade of green in the lower right side of the screen. For most people, I"m sure this wouldn't be a big deal. But I'm really anal retentive about some stuff, and ever since seeing it for the first time, I now notice it. Sometimes it's hardly noticeable, but it's more noticeable at times. But I guess this could be subjective. Is this kind of color impurity normal, and was it there the whole time? What could be causing it? And will it get worse?

I've got the Circuit City 4 year extended warranty, so I'm not worried about getting ripped. But I'm wondering if this is something that can or should be fixed. I'd hate to have a service technician come out and have to get him to look at it with one eye squinted while standing on one leg just to be able to see it.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

I can't say I've noticed any color inconsistencies, but I'm not sure I've ever looked closely at a very white scene for any length of time.

I do know when I looked at a convergence pattern screen, I was surprised to see that convergence was off by a couple of pixels (green) toward the left side of the screen. I suppose this could give a greenish cast.

Can you check a convergence pattern?

If it's off slightly, there isn't much you can do AFAIK, but if it's off a lot, they might consider it a repair/replace type defect.

Others might be able to suggest other causes.

That doesn't sound normal, my 50LC13 looks fine for color (no green tint issues). I'd call a service tech.
