Hi guys. I have a 60 inch plasma and I'm looking for a wall mount that is the slimmest or most low profile. By slim or low profile, I mean a wall mount that will hold the TV with as little space between the wall and the TV as possible.

So do you guys have any suggestions as to which wall mount might hold the TV to the wall as close as possible?

Wait a second, so you want one that DOESN'T stick out 3-4 inches? I'm confused.

I mean, when I saw the word "slim", I immediately assumed you wanted one that stuck out a lot. But then you go and throw a curveball and say you want one that doesn't stick out? Man, you're too confusing.

Is tilting a needed feature?

There are two on Newegg that will support a 60" plasma. One is made by Peerless and is 0.4" and the other is 0.39" (forgot the brand). I think that's about as thin as you will find anywhere.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. No I don't need tilting. I don't know if you guys feel the same way, but sometimes I see a plasma/lcd that has a thick mount and I think to myself, well what's the point of the TV being so sleek and slim, when the mount makes it look a lot bigger.

Here's a direct link if you're interested in the 0.3" mount.

Hi guys, I have a Pioneer PRO-141fd and I contacted monoprice and they stated their 6434 mount doesn't work on my TV. They said that the PRO-141FD has a mounting pattern of 850x500. And the closest mount that monoprice supports is 1050x450.

Can you guys suggest a low profile/slim wall mount that would work for the Pioneer 141?

heres a little piece of advice if you do decide to go with a mount real close to the wall. put a recessed wall plate right behind your inputs. i learned the hard way and snapped my hdmi cable when i went to hang the tv, there just wasnt enough room for the cable

I've got ultra slim Pioneer KRP-WM01 for my 141FD, can't be happier.
