I am using Windows7 Media Center with Media Browser. I am having an issue navigating DVD menus. Note that the remote responds perfectly fine with commands while navigation MC7, or during movie playback (ie pause, stop, ff, rw, etc). It is only when navigation the menus that it is painfully slow, and becomes slower and slower the deeper you go into the menus, or the more buttons are clicked.
For instance, in the Root menu navigation between items is somewhat slow. But click into Setup or Chapters menu, and it eventually gets to where there is up to a 30 second lag moving from one selection to the other.
I have tried various codecs, and it doesn't seem to effect it. Currently using ffdshow, but previously used the standard MS codec, and HTPC-HC codec as well.
