I don't know if this would qualify as a review but I heard the q-line Gold in BB the other day. It sounded pretty good...considering. But it's a little pricey IMHO. I can't say the price here but it was 3/4 of a thousand bucks.

I think you can do better for the money.
Yeah the MSRP is 799.99.I was like dang.Sounds wonderful for a HTIB.Being a HTIB runs the price up there.Im with you beermoney tjhat you can build a better system for the price.
actually, the q-line is currently $599 at bestbuy. not sure i like the receiver or dvd player, but it appears a remarkable value. for the price, i've never heard a 5.1 HT system that sounded so good.
See the other thread. I posted a pretty extensive review. It's steal under $600. I paid retail and have no regrets.
I received the silver for fathers day. I have alot of components; DVD, TIVO, VCR, & 57" HDTV and am having trouble getting it to work right. Does anyone have a clue as to what I may be doing wrong. I can get my DVD's to sound great but my HDTV & TIVO dontsound right. The silver does not have a S-video so was trying to run everything through my DVD and Tivo. I have a lines running from my HDTV & Tivo, to the receiver. I know I did something wrong and cannot seem to be able to get the sound right thru anthing but my DVD. HELLPP

sorry i can't help w/ this- i'm still a month away from ordering. best luck, and i'll be staying tuned.
I went and looked and listened to this the other day. Sounds good but I believe the sub is the weak link in the chain. :) Sale ended 1 July according to the sales person I talked to.

that sub is certainly a monster- thought the sound quite good. price is still 599...w/ free shipping.
I finally got my Q-line Silver working properly and it sounds GREAT. Tokk alittle common sense on the set-up but once I took MY ideas out of the loop and READ the directions THOUROUGHLY it was a snap. I got my system at Wal-mart for 449.00 and was worth every penny. The only down side is no s-video so need to use extra remotes but all in all well worth the money and time.

great to hear. i'm still aiming for the gold line (599 @ bestbuy) which has a dvd player, s-vid, and is black. i've still never heard anything that sounds better in the price range.
