I have a somewhat unique situation.

I live in a small 1 bedroom apt(670 sq feet) where my kitchen is in-between my linving room, where the HT is, and my office/small country computing center is.

I am looking for a way to get my CATV into the office where I am building a PVR/Home media server.

I have attached a floorplan.

Cable outlets in red. my server rack in the office(black rectangle)

My initial idea is to find some thin diameter coax cable that I can run from either the cable outlet in the bedroom or the outlet in the livingroom. I know I can get the cable company to put an outlet in but I suspect I can get around the problem for less money. Plus I'll avoid the hassle with the apt manager over it.

Are there wireless alternatives? Is there an online or B&M retailer that might have what I am looking for?
