Hello all, in the process of buying (2) Chorus II speakers from a neighbor. i had these speakers years ago and sold them. (always regretted it) Just have a question . The owner put Cornwall drivers in them because he poked a hole in one on accident. Is this a big deal? He also offered to give me the original drivers if I wanted to get it re-combed. I'm paying 400$ for the speakers. Is this still an okay deal or should I be skeptical?

Post over at the main Klipsch forum. What 15 did he put in? Cornwalls have had many different ones over the years.

I'm not sure which Cornwalls he put in. I will have to find out. I didn't see a klipsch forum. I must be overlooking something. Thanks

He actually said he put the ones from Cornwalls in from Crites. He said they don't make Crites replacement drivers for the Chorus II's. Not sure if that's true. I may actually buy two Quartets off of him as well.
