I just had to move into a small rental place due to a divorce. My room is not big enough to fit my diy sub. I need something small to fit between two chairs.


I prefer sealed subs and sq is important. I was thinking of listening to the jl audio f110. I had a pair of f113's before i built my own.


Im a bass head so i need a sub that has good output in a small package.

Since you have already owned Fathoms and are considering another, I would say that your options are fairly limited. I am assuming that sizewise you would like to stay in the realm of the Fathoms. You could look at the Hsu ULS-15 (a little bigger than the Fathoms, but very well regarded) or some of the rythmic offerings. The Rythmics will give up some output to the Fathoms, but should eqaul them in terms of sound quality. Other people have had some good experiences with the smaller Velodynes. They are pricey, but seem to give good performance for their size.
