We need to place a small, thin flat panel display onto a podium. Ideally, the size needs to be 10" - 13". The input can be either VGA or HDMI.

We need it just for a monitor so the person at the podium can have feedback of what is being displayed on a screen behind them, without having to turn around.

It just needs to be a monitor - in other words, we don't want a laptop, tablet, touchscreen, etc.

Where can we find something like this? We have made several Google searches but haven't had any luck. Within reason, we don't mind paying for something that is higher end, professional grade, etc.

Well you could do something really easy and cheap like a digital picture frame. I have a 10" samsung picture frame that can function as a monitor. I think it will only accept USB input though, not sure if they have any newer ones with hdmi. If you wanted to spend crazy amounts of money for a pro grade then go for one of the sony reference OLED monitors.
