So any small speaker from Bose will have some of the best soundstage? :O
Any particular model you would recommend? Like the 2.1 Companion 50?

Max 25 cm height :) they need to fit under my monitors. I don't mind passive or active as long as give me the most soundstage with whatever setup at whatever budget.

I know limiting speakers by height is "meh" but it's my only option to get good positioning.

Wow! Both are spot on under 25cm! :D It's impressive how I couldn't find anything like that on my own. Google just gave me bookshelve speakers at 30cm+.

Both seem awesome, specially the minuet! ^^

Any amp you would recommend with the Silverline Minuet? I understand nothing of speakers :D I'm a complete noob!

Thanks!

Then I agree with the other poster, the RSL CG3s are absolutely perfect for these. I love mine, and the sound fantastic with proper amplification and sound way bigger than their size.

24.13 cm tall BTW

JBL 705p (or i) is 268 x 151 x 274 cm. Which is quite small.

It was measured in sound and recording magazine and they had impressive output for 2 way 5 incher.

When I looked for speakers (I ended up with 708i) I was looking for a few qualities in the speaker which would suite "small appartment room" environment well and I think 7 series is really good in that regard. I am not even sure there is anything like this on the market right now.

Minimum would be anything 50w per channel, but it is always nice to have the headroom of something a little more powerful closer to the 100w range.

It seems though that Silverline audio speakers are not available in Europe :(
Klipsch R-14Ms might work. They're under 25cm in height.
Im impressed with audioengine....I have the 6in tall a2+ but I use a sub also.

You might also want to consider two center channel speakers with raised tweeters assuming you have the width.

The Q Acoustic Concept center is available in Europe, (British Company that works with a German engineering team).

They seem pretty good. They go on the list!

The height on those is awesome because then they could actually be just beneath my screens. How would those sound comparing to R-14Ms?

Wouldn't something like that feel like all the audio is coming from "in front of me"? I am used to a Logitech X-530 system which sound fine... except when putting the sound low for ambient music... or high volume.

Thank you all for all the replies! Greatly appreciated!
excuse my ocd sloppiness, but in my setup the center image and depth actually occur behind the screen somehow. I like em alot for my use.

You are forgiveth. And thank you for sharing :) in fact... you might have greatly help me to solv my problem by sharing your setup.

I wanted to upgrade my Logitech X-530 to something that would sound better and my challenge was "what are good small speakers and how to place them" because of a tripple screen setup... well I had not considered to put the speakers in front of the screens :O

Many thanks!

The Boenicke W5. Small, big sound, built in Europe, a tad pricey.

They are beautiful. But they are a bit too big... in price :p I had no idea such small speakers could cost so much. Thanks for sharing though!
NHT Superzero 2.1 is under 23cm in height. Not sure of their availability in Europe though
