So I realize the chances are slim to none ... but ...

Are the ESPN Sunday Night Football games being broadcast in HDTV by the local (ABC) affiliates that carry it?

Sure would be nice ... I get OTA only and the Redskins have two SNF games this season. Other than that, all the rest of their games will be on Fox (err, unless they make it to the SuperBowl).

Guess I'm getting spoiled ... so far we've seen the Skins in:

1 - HD 720p (ABC Thursday night opener)

1 - HD 1080i (CBS)

2 - ED 480p (Fox Widescreen)

0 - SD

I had another thread on this a couple of weeks ago. The consensus from the people who actually had the game in their home market was that ESPN was giving the SD version for local OTA broadcast.
