i think you mean GTR? GTR2 is for PC.

EBgames has it listed as 9/1/07. We'll see.

this was also the last date i heard, before it was abandoned. i dont think they want to try and compete with forza 2, though if it's already developed, or mostly developed, no harm in trying.

GTR2 is a good PC racing game, I think the console version would be watered down or either wouldn't sell very well. It appeals to hardcore racing fans, which are usually PC gamers.

Simbin supposedly will be making an announcement "any day now" about signing with a new publisher for GTR 2 for the 360. Until that happens, any speculation about release dates is superfluous, IMO.

If and when GTR 2 hits for the 360, that will be racing nirvana for me!

The trailer that was once available on Xbox Live, is no longer there.

I'm assuming that THQ sees more potential profit in games like Stuntman, Juiced, and MX. Either GTR(2) was too expensive, or the others are way cheaper to develop. I can't imagine any of those titles outselling a GTR game.

THQ sent a PR that they basically don't want to publish it. Simbin just needs to find another publisher that will cater to their needs.
