Hi.
I am doing some soffit bass traps. They are about 10" deep by 16" wide with a little gutter area for a neon light surround. This perfectly fits a R30 pink insulation which is 9.5" thick.
I would like to know the differences between having speaker cloth on the vertical part around the upper side
OR
Having speaker cloth venting the horizontal bottom side?
I have mainly seen the bottom being open, but sometimes see the bottom and the side being vented. I would prefer to vent the upper vertical side as it is much easier in my design then having to deal with the lighting and removable frames on the underside...
Any input please.
