Software to clip songs on Indian movies

1708 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Paul M. Joseph
I am trying to find software that can clip portion of blu-ray movies to create individual songs. I would like to use best quality original m2ts format with DTS Hd audio.

Is there any software that can do what I want?

Audacity is a free audio editing tool that you can download online. That will let you cut audio from a source like you want to do.

It doesn't do DTS-HD but you can rip the decoded audio as a .wav file which is uncompressed PCM. Pretty much the same thing.

Thanks for quick reply. I am trying to make m2ts files for each song. I need both video and audio preserving quality as much as possible.

I will research on Audacity. Appreciate for any suggestions. I don't have problem to pay for the software.
Ah. I see.

I think this program would do that for you but I am not sure.

You may need to use this program to simply rip the HD content (audio and video) and then process it with another program if this cannot do what you're wanting. I am not sure. I've used it to make Blu-ray ISO file copies of my movie collection. I haven't tried to use it to cut and edit that material.
After ripping your blu-ray disc using 'anydvdhd' or 'DVDfab' use 'tsMuxerGUI' to edit m2ts file In TSMuxer. There you can split (by size or time) or cut (also by size or time). You have to repeat the operation for each song.
