Solarized picture through Denon 4806.....

I thought for several years that my Denon was uncapable of passing 1080p signal. Under the threat of buying a splitter I tested to pass a 18080p through the Amp. Well as you guess, it did pass the signal succesfully. But there is one snag though.

Im using PS3 as a player. Everything looks good when I play a Blu-ray. But with no film, and just using the PS3 with the swirling background that originally "came" with the player, it is solarized(Im not shure if my spelling is right here).

It is not the biggest problem in the world for me, Im was happy to discover that it could pass 1080p, but I am curious why this happens.
