Trying to send an analog audio signal from a cable box to a Russound system through existing cat 6 wire.
I want to solder RCA connectors to the cat6.
Is it better to separate the twisted pairs so the solid blue and solid green wires are say positive and the blue/white and green/white are negative or would it be better to twist the blue and green pairs together and solder blue/white to positive and green/white to negative.
This is an unbalanced signal so I don't think the twists will hep reject noise.
My concern is that the twists could induce capacitance or is the electrical field to weak to have any effect.
