At $4000, the Panasonic probably makes more sense, but I just noticed that Costco updated their site with this: http://www.costco.com/product.asp?ca...4&log=&navtop=

It always bothers me when they describe the fact that a monitor like this one can "accept" 720p and 1080i signals. They ought to go on to say that neither of those resoutions will be presented by the monitor. Hell, I know that some wizard could figure a way to connect a 720p signal to a light bulb.....Art
I also noticed that unit on Costco's site. I can't find anywhere else on the web though. Does anyone else know anything about it? It looks ok, but performance/display wise what is it?
Art Lloyd: CRT displays with nowhere near the full resolution of 1080i make the same claims. Should they also be forced to state the same thing? Projectors with 720 lines too? 768 line plasmas in reference to 1080i?

True resolution of most HD displays is nowhere near the 2 million pixel range. Many have nowhere near 1 million pixels.
