Some basic questions

Can I record my shows that I have on my toshiba tivo hard drive onto a Panasonic DMR-E85HS's hard drive? Can this been done with all dvd recorders with a hard drive? Can I use the Panasonic DMR-E85HS to record satellite channels at specific times? Does the Panasonic DMR-E85HS have one touch recording?(Recording a program right away with pushing one button) Does the pioneer520 have the ability to record a specific channel everyday or every week? Is there copy protection from putting shows from stations like NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, CNN onto blank disks? What are TBC functions? Thanks.

Yes. Best to use S-Video cables for video and best picture.

I'm not sure about the Panasonic, but some models can be programmed to turn on and record when the satellite receiver comes on.

I don't believe so. I have a Pioneer and i record all of those networks onto hard drive and then to DVD without any problems.

That stands for Time Base Corrector. It makes home videos more stable when copying to the HDD or DVD.
