I have been researching this forum and several other sites for hours for the past 2 weeks. I am wanting a bit of advice on deciding which TV. I live in a small town in Canada so its hard for me to go out and see these TV's in person because no one has them in stock or side by side to compare.

The plasma's I have narrowed down to are"

Panasonic 60" TC-P65V10 $5000 not available until Sept.

Pioneer 60" PDP-6020FD $5300

Samsung 58" PN58B850 $4500

These are all the ones that I can get a hold of and are in my budget. It seems they are very close in specs but this is a very big purchase for me and I am trying to get the best TV for my budget. I am not sure if any newer models are coming soon that I should wait for. I know many of you are probably tired of these kinds of threads but I have put alot of time and effort into researching these TV's and unfortunately I am unable to see them in person so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you get the Pioneer KRP-600M? That is a great option if you plan to wall mount and use a receiver for sound.

To answer your question it depends on your priorities. If you want the best, go Pioneer. If you are not too worried about extremely minor differences in blacks, colours etc. then go with a cheaper brand. The Samsung 63B590 is another option.

Get a Kuro and all your troubles will go away. It really works, I am confirming it's miraculous capabilities to ease the visual senses.

Yes, they have 1 of these left for $5600. I wasn't sure if I should go that route. I have an Onyko and PSB complete system so I don't use TV speakers. Does it come with a stand? I don't want to wall mount, my TV is going in the corner because of my room layout.

Its more expensive than the 6020? Nevermind then, I'd go with the cheaper option. The 600M doesn't come with a stand, but you can buy one separately.

The ONLY drawback for me (and this sincerely is just a minor inconvenience) for the Pio is the response time for gaming, compared to the V10. If that doesn't concern you, GO FOR THE PIONEER

Could you please explain to me how much of a difference there will be. I do play alot of PS3, especially Rockband. Thanks everyone for the help so far.

Get the pioneer, the numbers in lag input is not visable by the average eye, this is true even more if you go to "game mode"
